A picture of Anna Walsh(standing) with her sister Mary Walsh(sitting).
According to family history, Anna immigrated to the United States with the intention of becoming a nun. It is still questionable whether she arrived at the port of entry in Boston or Ellis Island. While she was attending school she was writing Patrick J. Chambers and in contact with him through Patrick J. Chambers cousin Thomas. Patrick talked her out of becoming a nun and they married sometime between 1908-1910. They were all previously friends and had grown up together because their townships were right next to one another.
