Where they came from
Above is map from the mid-late 1800's of Mayo County. Click on it to enlarge it and notice that the green arrow points to the township of Crillaun, which was in the Turlough Parish. Crillaun is where the Chambers ancestors lived. A little East of Crillaun near the mountains would be Cunnagher North, where the Walsh ancestors were from.

Patrick J. Chambers (my great grandfather) noted in a census that he had immigrated over in 1906. I found the Immigration record and found that his last residence he was coming from was Wolverhamton, ENGLAND. He had lived there before with his Uncle Micheal and now was seeking him in New York. The address he would reach would be 207 Loonus Ave, Syracuse New York.
A 1920 census record showed that a Micheal RUANE and Mary E. RUANE were living at Loonus Avenue in Syracuse.
Occupation in 1881: Bricklayer/Laboror
Occupation of Michael in 1920: Teamster
Interesting fact about surname RUANE:
"The name Ruane derives from O Ruadhain who were a sept of the the most powerful and important tribe of medieval Ireland. Our crest is a naked arm couped at the elbow grasping a dagger which signifies an industrious and labourious person. Our motto is "Creso per crucem" which means "I grow through the cross"."
